The Mind/Body Connection - 3 Diffuser Blends to Help You Chill

Did you know that every emotion you experience can be linked to a physical response in your body? Mind-blowing, I know. The reasoning is found in the limbic system within your brain. 🧠 The limbic system is the part of the brain that involves our behaviors and emotions that we need for survival, like feeding, sex, caring for children, and our fight or flight responses. Today I am going to share with you my three favorite diffuser blends to help me chill when I start to feel overwhelmed. #woosah

When we feel an emotion-based from fear, happiness, sadness, anger, love, guilt, peace/calm, and stress, our limbic systems send hormones through our body and we have a physical response. This can manifest as stress or anxiety or in other physical ways (tummy troubles, rapid heartrate, etc.) Give the following diffuser blends a try and you’ll be Zen AF in no time!

  1. Worry Be Gone - Diffuse this blend and feel your strife melt right away.

    2 drops Patchouli

    2 drops Bergamot

    3 drops Copaiba

    As you get your diffuser going, take a moment to sit in gratitude. If you need a place to start here are some that I like to use:

2. Relaxation Blend - Do we really have to go to work? Can’t we just relax and have a spa day? You may not be able to run out to get pampered right this instant, but you can create a calm atmosphere right at home with this invigorating combo.

2 drops Eucalyptus
2 drops Siberian Fir
3 drops Lavender

All there’s left to do is to turn on the rain sounds and you will be on your way to bliss. The to do list can wait!

3. Overwhelm Blend - Life can feel overwhelming in so many ways. Work, Family, Relationships, Global events, Parenting… how do we manage it all? Sometimes it can seem like we are just spinning plates. When that feeling creeps in, try this in your diffuser!
